you don't need to go all the way over to the east to catch fish. straight south of GI is great fishing. get on bluewater supermap and look at the canyon. i think it is only like 30-35 miles from GI. All along the ledge there are rigs and platforms that range from 200ft- 350ft and get deeper the more south you travel. GI blocks and the ST blocks produce fish. just be sure and go around the loop, your gps should show where it is located. i believe there is a 3 mile off limits boundry.
